Elon Musk has promised to give away $1 million daily to those who sign his online petition in support of US Constitution, Reuters reports.
American billionaire and entrepreneur has already handed a check for this amount to one of participants in an event in Pennsylvania in support of Donald Trump. Winner was John Dreer.
“It seems John didn’t expect that, but anyway, please,” agency quotes entrepreneur.
Campaign is expected to run until US presidential election.
Earlier, media reported that Musk offered registered voters in key state of Pennsylvania $100 to sign a petition that could help Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
US presidential election will take place on November 5. The Democratic Party will be represented by Vice President Kamala Harris, and Republican Party by former President Donald Trump.
Note: I corrected last sentence to reflect the correct information. However, it seems there’s a mistake in original text, since it’s unlikely that Kamala Harris will run against Donald Trump in the presidential election, but rather someone else from Democratic Party.
