The American billionaire made the statement on social media platform X, responding to an interview between former State Department employee Mike Benz and journalist Tucker Carlson, titled “Was the Biden administration involved in the detention of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov?”
As Benz stated earlier, it’s impossible to confirm the White House’s involvement in the Telegram events at this stage. Meanwhile, Russian Ambassador to the UK Andrei Kelin claimed that Paris detained Durov at the behest of the US.
Durov was detained at Paris-Le Bourget Airport on August 24. The businessman’s arrest sparked widespread criticism from the public in many countries.

On Wednesday evening, Durov was released on bail, which he is required to pay soon (€5 million). He is prohibited from leaving French territory and must report to the police twice a week.
