Eknath Shinde cabinet called a special session of State Assembly for 2 days on 2nd and 3rd July

In Maharashtra, the new government formed under the leadership of Shiv Sena rebel Eknath Shinde has called a special session of the state assembly on July 2 and 3. This decision has been taken in the cabinet meeting held after the swearing-in of the new government. The Speaker of the Assembly will be elected on July 2, the first day of the session, as the post was lying vacant after the resignation of Nana Patole. At the same time, the majority test can also be held on the second day of the session. In the new government formed on Thursday, Eknath Shinde took oath as the Chief Minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis as the Deputy Chief Minister.

Maharashtra cabinet meeting was held under the leadership of Eknath Shinde as soon as he was sworn in as CM. In which Kharif crops and crop insurance were discussed. Addressing the media after the meeting, CM Shinde said that many decisions are pending. The pending project will be completed soon for the people of Maharashtra. Our goal is to develop Maharashtra.

What happened will be a game changer

Shinde said that what happened today will be a game changer. There will be justice for the farmers and laborers. He said that many development works were done during Fadnavis’s tenure. Now because he has a lot of experience in running the government. So justice will be done to every section in Maharashtra with their help.

Shinde was the urban development minister in the Uddhav government

Shinde, a four-time MLA, was the urban development and PWD minister in Maharashtra’s Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government led by Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray. He has often attributed his success in state politics to party founder Balasaheb Thackeray. Influenced by the party’s Hindutva ideology and the personality of Bal Thackeray, Shinde joined the Shiv Sena.

Shinde was elected councilor in 1997

Shinde was elected councilor in the Thane Municipal Corporation in 1997 and after that he became an MLA for the first time by winning the 2004 assembly elections. In 2005, he was made the Thane district chief of Shiv Sena. Shinde’s stature can be gauged from the fact that he is seen as the second most prominent leader in the party.
