Cadets of the Yekaterinburg Suvorov Military School held a patriotic action “Obelisk” dedicated to the Victory Day. This was reported in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

“Suvorovites joined the Obelisk patriotic action, during which they held a community work day near the monument dedicated to the employees of the Ural Shoes factory who died during the Great Patriotic War. The guys, together with their parents and officers of the school, removed the garbage that had accumulated over the winter in the area adjacent to the monument and removed dust and dirt from the monument, ”the website of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

Pupils of the school honored the memory of the shoemakers who died during the war years, who fought at the front and worked in the rear. Suvorovites spent a moment of silence and laid flowers and wreaths at the monument.

Earlier, URA.RU reported on the action dedicated to the Victory Day, which was held by teenagers of the social rehabilitation center in Severouralsk. The children decorated the windows of the center with appliqués as part of the patriotic action “Windows of Victory”.
