Earthquakes with a magnitude of 3.7 were recorded by seismologists on the morning of June 18 in the waters of Lake Baikal, the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the Irkutsk Region reports.
It is reported that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 47 kilometers from the village of Bolshoe Goloustnoye. At the same time, residents of Irkutsk felt tremors with an intensity of 2-3 points. In the area of the epicenter of the seismic event, the intensity reached 5.2 points.
According to preliminary data, there were no victims or damage to the infrastructure.
