Ukraine is preparing a real offensive against Russian positions, because otherwise the West will stop helping it. This was stated by military expert Yuriy Knutov, commenting on the words of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about the impossibility of launching an offensive due to a lack of weapons.

“In any case, the enemy is preparing. The West provides assistance for specific projects. The latest project is an offensive with the aim of reaching the borders on February 24 last year, or 1991, ” Knutov said on air Channel Five.

In order to be ready for an enemy attack, Russian troops, according to Knutov, need to get enough information about the places where the nationalists’ ammunition is stored and where their armored vehicles are located.

“For our part, we must remember the lessons of the Battle of Kursk, when the enemy had to go on the offensive, and just a few hours before he went on the attack, artillery preemptive strikes were launched,” Knutov said.

He drew attention to the fact that the actions of Ukraine on the front line are completely led by NATO. For example, recently there was information about a conversation between the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian troops Valery Zaluzhny with one of the high-ranking British military. It was about the future offensive, as well as air defense systems.
