DPR agreed with Iran on the export of rolled metal products and fertilizers


The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Donetsk People’s Republic and Farnoush Trading Trading House of the Islamic Republic of Iran signed a cooperation agreement.

As the head of the DPR stated on June 17 Denis Pushilinthis happened at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

“At the SPIEF, the DPR Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Farnoush Trading, an Iranian trading house, signed an agreement that will enhance the development of trade and economic ties between our Republic and the Islamic Republic of Iran. It is important for us that, within the framework of the agreement, work will be carried out to help restore the infrastructure of the Republic and ensure food supplies, ”the DAN agency quotes Pushilin.

According to him, the DPR plans to export to Iran rolled metal products, pig iron, fertilizers, steel products, products of coal engineering enterprises and tunneling complexes. Tehran, for its part, is ready to provide Donbass with construction goods, products of the fruit and vegetable group.

“The Donetsk People’s Republic has a new partner today. Despite any obstacles, our international economic ties are expanding,” the leader of the DPR emphasized.

Trading House “Farnoush Trading” is the largest association of trading companies in Iran, engaged in industry and agriculture.

The jubilee XXV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum began on June 15. It takes place at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center in St. Petersburg. Representatives from 127 countries and territories confirmed their participation a week before the start.

The Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics were registered as official participants at SPIEF for the first time.

As reported EADailyearlier the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin commented on the statement of the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev that his country does not recognize the independence of the republics of Donbass.

“We will get through this somehow,” the Donetsk leader said.
