Five children were among those evacuated.

In Yekaterinburg, on 40th Anniversary of Komsomol Street, a fire occurred in an apartment in a 16-story residential building. During the fire, 20 people, including five children, were evacuated from the house. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Sverdlovsk Region.

“At 10:28 p.m., a call was received about a fire in an apartment at the address: 40th Anniversary of Komsomol Street. The total area of ​​the household fire was ten square meters. Before the arrival of fire and rescue units, 20 people were evacuated, including five children,” the statement said.

Four units of special equipment and 14 personnel were involved in extinguishing the fire. The fire was completely extinguished at 11:36 p.m.
