The current government of Moldova wants to disrupt the deal with Russia’s Gazprom. about it in his Telegram channel wrote the former President of the Republic Igor Dodon.

In his opinion, the official Chisinau deliberately creates unfavorable conditions for the work of the Moldovagaz company. All for the sake of blocking the contract with the domestic energy supplier.

“The current gas tariff does not cover the purchase price. I think this was done deliberately so that the Moldovagaz company could not pay off Gazprom,” the politician said.

Dodon added that in this way, the head of state Maia Sandu and Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spinu expect to start purchasing resources through offshore companies.

Earlier, Moldovagaz announced a lack of funds in the account. According to company representatives, in August the company will not be able to make an advance payment for Russian gas.
