Documentary ‘The Elephant Whispers’ wins Oscar in ‘Documentary Short Subject’ category

Los Angeles (USA) : Tamil language documentary ‘The Elephant Whispers’ has won the first Oscar for India in the ‘Documentary Short Subject’ category. Directed by Karthik Gonsalves, the documentary from OTT (over-the-top) platform ‘Netflix’ beat ‘Holout’, ‘How Do You Measure an Year?’, ‘The Martha Mitchell Effect’ and ‘Stranger at the Gate’ in this category.
