Reva. Doctors have saved the lives of three kidney patients by operating them simultaneously. But the condition of one of those patients was very critical. This patient was a child of 3 years. The child had a tumor of two kg in his stomach. To relieve the child from pain, the team of doctors decided to operate. In an hour-long operation, the team of doctors removed the tumor from the child’s stomach. Now the child is healthy.
According to Dr. Brijesh Tiwari, Wilms tumor is a type of cancer. Which is commonly seen in children under the age of 5 years. Wilms tumor is extremely dangerous and rare. This is the reason why the number of people experiencing its symptoms is very less.
What are the symptoms of Wilms tumor
Wilms tumor is found in one or both kidneys of children. Usually it is associated with the internal organs of the kidneys. The main symptoms of this disease are abdominal pain, vomiting, fever, loss of appetite, weight loss. Its treatment is nephrectomy, chemotherapy, radiation therapy.
In fact, during the initial treatment, a huge lump was found on the left side of the child. About 75 percent of which was in the stomach. There was a lot of anemia in the child. In such a situation the operation could not be done. The child was transfused two units of blood and after a CT scan, it was found that the child had a rare form of kidney cancer. Which is called Wilms tumor.

After convincing the family members of the patient, the decision to operate was taken. The doctors took out this tumor by making an incision. The tumor in the child was about 2 kg. Due to this, the rest of the body parts of the child were getting suppressed. But now this child is completely healthy.
