Dmitry Peskov called for checking the appearance of the flag of Ukraine at the exhibition in RUDN University

Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin Dmitry Peskov condemned the appearance of the flag of Ukraine at the exhibition at the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (PFUR). He called for an investigation into this fact.

Peskov did not support the appearance of Ukrainian state symbols at the exhibition of compatriots at the university. The spokesman drew attention to the fact that the flag belongs to a country that supports the nationalist regime and opposes the special operation.

“We have seen media reports, but we need to find out the details: who exactly hung the flags, what was the event. I am not inclined to take the description in the media as a primary source. We recommend that you contact the Ministry of Education and find out the circumstances of what happened,” he said.

Recall that the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation also condemned the appearance of Ukrainian symbols. The department has ordered an investigation into the matter.
