“Disappointment exceeded all expectations”: a Russian tourist shared her impressions of her vacation in Abkhazia

A Russian woman who visited Abkhazia shared in her personal blog on the Internet impressions of the trip. Rest in the Black Sea resort disappointed the traveler.

Despite the fact that the Russian woman liked the hotel, the girl described the Abkhaz reality outside of it as “horror”. The travel lover tried not to leave her hotel room in the evenings, so as not to watch the mountains of garbage that come ashore with the waves, and poor local service. The girl also noted that there are a lot of drunk drivers on the Abkhazian roads.

“You didn’t come – others will come, we even have a lot of four million tourists, we don’t have time to put money in our pockets,” the Russian woman quoted a taxi driver she had to face on vacation.

The traveler said that they constantly try to deceive the guests of the country. In particular, sell them expensive products or excursions that turn out to be completely uninteresting. Summing up, the girl said that Abkhazia is not suitable for tourism, and called the country “greedy and uncomfortable.”

Earlier, a citizen of the Russian Federation, who visited Abkhazia, warned of a number of problems that a tourist in the country may face.
