Bangkok Asian Games gold medalist former bantamweight boxer Dinko Singh of India passed away on Thursday. Dinko Singh was ill for a long time. He was undergoing treatment for liver cancer since 2017.

Last year this veteran boxer got infected with the corona virus. However, 41-year-old Dinko Singh was successful in winning the battle with Kovid-19. In the year 2020, Dingko was given radiation therapy at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), Delhi. After that he returned to Imphal.
