Diarchy established in Italian party politics

Two political parties in Italy are “leaving behind” their competitors, these are the results of an EMG poll published on June 17.

For right-wing conservatives from the “Brothers of Italy” (the party is in opposition) 22.1% of citizens are ready to vote, for the left-liberal Democratic Party (part of the ruling coalition) – 21.8%.

The rating of the “League” Matteo Salvini continues to decline, now this right-wing conservative party (part of the ruling coalition) can count on 14.1% of the vote.

Two more coalition parties, the populists of the 5 Star Movement and the right-wing conservatives of the Fort Italia party, could receive 13% and 8.1% of the vote respectively this weekend.

At the same time, in Italy there is still a high proportion of citizens who have not decided on the elections or do not intend to vote (39.2%).
