Combat veterans working as individual entrepreneurs should receive a preferential rate of 3% under the simplified taxation system. This initiative was made by State Duma deputy Vasily Vlasov, he sent an appeal to the head of the Ministry of Labor Anton Kotyakov. This is reported RT with a link to the text of the letter.
The parliamentarian explained that a whole list of benefits is provided for veterans, including those who fought in the NVO zone, but it does not affect the business sector. But, returning to civilian life, many military men could find themselves in entrepreneurship, benefiting the country, creating jobs and fulfilling themselves, Vlasov emphasized. He recalled that now in Russia the simplified rate for individual entrepreneurs is 6% of profit.
“I ask you to evaluate the feasibility of amending the legislation regarding the introduction of a preferential simplified taxation system of 3% for individual entrepreneurs with the status of combat veterans,” says in the document.
