State Duma Deputy Yevgeny Fedorov proposed limiting the issuance of microloans to citizens with less than a year of work experience. This is reported RT with reference to a letter addressed to the head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina.
The parliamentarian noted that a number of microfinance organizations set additional requirements in order to increase security. In particular, we are talking about age (at least 21-22 years old), the presence of a permanent job and others.
Many organizations are ready to issue loans without being interested in issues of work experience and income generation. Fedorov notes that this increases the risk of citizens being in a difficult situation. In this regard, the deputy asks to consider the issue of the advisability of introducing restrictions for microfinance organizations to issue loans to citizens who have less than a year of work experience.
