The first four deputies of the State Duma submitted applications with a request to send them to the zone of a special military operation in Ukraine, they will be considered by the Russian Defense Ministry. This was announced by the Secretary of the General Council of the United Russia Party, Vice Speaker of the Federation Council Andrei Turchak.
According to him, applications were submitted by Vitaly Milonov (Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Family, Women and Children), Dmitry Khubezov (Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection), Dmitry Sablin (Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Defense) and Sergei Sokol (Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy).
“Statements of the first four deputies of the State Duma from United Russia with a request to send them to serve in the NVO zone as part of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have been received by me and will be considered by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation,” wrote Turchak in the telegram channel.
He added that parliamentarians from the first days of the SVO have been working in the Donbass, saving civilians from the hands of the Kyiv regime, and they know very well “what it’s like to be Russian in the primordially Russian land occupied by neo-Nazis.”
