Denmark invites Nord Stream operator to lift object found near gas pipeline

Denmark decided to involve the owner of the Nord Stream 2 AG gas pipeline in raising an object found nearby to the surface. The work will be carried out jointly with the Ministry of Defense of the country.

“In order to clarify the nature of the object, the Danish authorities decided to raise it with the assistance of the Danish Ministry of Defense. In this regard, the Danish Energy Agency invited the owner of the Nord Stream 2 AG gas pipeline to take part in the operation,” the statement said. DEAspecifying that they are waiting for a response from the company.

Earlier, an American journalist, Pulitzer Prize winner Seymour Hersh, said that US President Joe Biden decided to undermine Nord Stream because of Ukraine’s failures on the battlefield. Hersh published his investigation into Washington’s involvement in blowing up the Nord Stream gas pipelines on February 8.
