The American company Johnson & Johnson currently continues to supply Acuvue contact lenses to Russia, RIA Novosti was told in the company’s press service. Earlier, Kommersant’s sources in the market talked about receiving notifications from the company about the suspension of lens imports.

“Johnson & Johnson continues to provide Russian consumers with Acuvue lenses,” the company said in a statement.

Last week, market players told Kommersant that Johnson & Johnson (produces Acuvue Oasys and Acuvue True Eyes lenses) has begun sending notices to opticians about the suspension of imports. After that, the Ministry of Industry and Trade promised to add contact lenses produced by this company to the list for parallel import within two weeks.
