Cycling route through the Pekhra-Yakovlevskoye and Gorenki estates will be built in Balashikha

A large-scale project of the Pekhorka Valley bicycle and pedestrian route has been implemented in Balashikha since 2017. It already combines several recreation areas, plans are to extend it through the Pekhra-Yakovlevskoye and Gorenki estates.

Now from the park on Solnechnaya Street you can ride a bike to the square near the factory and the new embankment in the Pekhorka-Les park. After the construction of a new section of the cycling route, it will be possible to get from there to the Pekhra-Yakovlevskoye estate and through Akatovo to get to the Gorenki estate. The Pekhorka Valley project in Balashikha will be implemented in the next few years.

“We are gradually implementing this project. Then our task is to go south. We are planning to take the next step — it will become a continuation of a large bicycle and pedestrian route,” said Sergey Yurov, head of the Balashikha urban district, secretary of the local branch of the United Russia party.

Earlier, the Governor of the Moscow Region, Andrei Vorobyov, announced in his Telegram channel that an active phase of landscaping work had begun in the region. Recall that recently 170 thousand residents of the region were surveyed on this topic.
