The “Indestructible Brotherhood” exercises, which were originally planned to be held in Armenia, will be held in Kyrgyzstan. This was stated by the head of the CSTO joint headquarters Anatoly Sidorov during a briefing, RIA Novosti reports.
In January of this year, the Ministry of Defense reported that eight international exercises would be held at the training grounds of the Russian military districts in 2023. In addition, it was assumed that Russian military personnel would take part in the exercises of the CSTO peacekeeping contingents “Indestructible Brotherhood – 2023”, which will be held in Armenia. Subsequently, the Armenian side refused to conduct CSTO exercises in 2023.
“At the final stage, it is planned to conduct joint exercises with the CSTO peacekeeping forces “Indestructible Brotherhood” on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic,” Sidorov said.
