A 34-year-old man underwent a successful heart transplant operation in Tyumen. This was reported to URA.RU in the press service of the regional clinical hospital number one. Doctors believe that with such wear and tear of the heart, as in a Tyumen citizen, his life expectancy would not be great.

“Almost two dozen specialists did not leave the operating table for 8 hours. The transplantation, as planned, ended successfully. The patient was not excluded from the risk of blood clots and sudden death, so transplantation was necessary. This is the youngest patient who received a heart transplant in the Tyumen region. The reason for the vital operation was the diagnosis – cardiomyopathy, ”the press service said.

Delivery of the organ was difficult, it was transported both by ground transport and by air ambulance helicopter. The heart was delivered from Ishim to the operation in two hours. This is the third case of a successful heart transplant in the Tyumen region. At the moment, there are already six people in the queue for such a transplant.

Earlier, URA.RU wrote that the Tyumen citizen had to beg for treatment from a doctor in a well-known paid clinic. He told the agency about this, naming the name of the medical organization, which he no longer intends to turn to for help.
