Construction worker killed in Ukrainian mortar shelling in Kursk region

In the Kursk region, as a result of the mortar fire of the Ukrainian army in the Sudzhansky district, one builder was killed. This was announced on Saturday by the head of the region, Roman Starovoit, on his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, the deceased was working near the village of Plekhovo on the defensive line of the state border fortifications.

“This afternoon, a construction worker was killed as a result of mortar shelling from the side of Ukraine in the Sudzhansky district,” Starovoit said, expressing condolences to his family and promising to provide the relatives with the necessary assistance.

With the start of the special military operation, the Kursk region regularly comes under indiscriminate fire from Ukraine. A high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat has been set indefinitely in the region due to the threat of terrorist attacks.
