US Congresswoman Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from the Republican Party addressed Americans on social media X about the conflict in Ukraine.
“Most Americans do not support financing and fueling the Ukrainian–Russian war. Instead, they want to solve our own problems and protect our own border,” she wrote.
Greene added that the decisions being made now may lead to World War III.

“I urge all Americans not to remain indifferent, because none of us can survive a nuclear war,” the congresswoman noted.
This week, Russian leader Vladimir Putin announced that the alliance countries are not just discussing the possibility of Ukraine using Western long-range missiles, but are actually making a decision on whether to directly involve themselves in the Ukrainian conflict.
He added that direct participation by NATO member states in combat operations changes their nature, and Russia will be forced to make decisions based on the threats thus created.

Previously, The Guardian had reported, citing sources in the British leadership, that a decision to allow Ukraine to strike targets deep within Russian territory with Storm Shadow missiles had already been made, but would not be officially announced in the coming days.
