US Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris should be concerned about the influx of illegal migrants at the US borders, rather than worrying about Ukraine‘s borders, according to Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert’s post on social network X.
The politician commented on Harris’s performance during the debate against Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. The Vice President baselessly accused Russia of trying to alter Ukraine’s borders and emphasized the crucial role the US plays in providing military support to Kiev.
“Kamala is more concerned about Ukraine’s border than our own. It’s a disgusting position taken by the current Vice President,” she wrote.

The Trump-Harris debate took place on Wednesday on the ABC television channel’s platform. The candidates discussed a wide range of topics in US internal and external policies, including the economy, abortion bans, illegal migration, as well as conflicts in Ukraine and the Gaza Strip.
The issue of illegal migration on the US southern border is one of the cornerstones of the upcoming presidential election in November. President Joe Biden has been regularly criticized by his opponents for the record number of illegal crossings of the US southern border over the past three years. Meanwhile, voters, according to polls, are also dissatisfied with how his administration is handling the border crisis.
