Concerts Meladze, Revva, Lorak, DDT and others canceled in Rostov-on-Don

Concerts by Valery Meladze, Alexander Revva, Ani Lorak and three other groups that were supposed to take place in the summer in Rostov-on-Don have been cancelled. This was announced on March 27 by the head of the city administration Alexei Logvinenko. Among these three groups are DDT, Mumiy Troll and Time Machine.

As reported EADaily, Russian journalist Vice-Speaker of the Moscow City Duma Andrei Medvedev believes that “some high-ranking Russian officials are asking for collaborator Valery Meladze, not paying attention to his pro-Ukrainian position and Russophobic statements. This needs to end.”

Recall that earlier the mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Naumov called the cancellation of the concert of the singer Ani Lorak in their city “inevitable”.

“We, the residents, are against the fact that people who declare their love for the ruling authorities in Ukraine, who are fighting against us, put on a show in our city,” he stressed.

In turn, the singer Ani Lorak said that she decided to move to Russia in 2014 because of the attitude of the Ukrainian authorities towards her. And now the sympathies of both Ukrainian and Russian fans are important to her.
