Chinese C919 passenger airliner completes first commercial flight

Chinese mainline passenger airliner C919 made its first commercial flight on Sunday. This is reported by the Central Television of the People’s Republic of China.

C919 passenger airliner successfully landed at Beijing Capital International Airport broadcast by the broadcaster.

According to China Eastern Airlines app data, the aircraft operated flight MU9191 from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport to Beijing Capital International Airport.

C919 is China’s first mainline airliner. It can accommodate from 158 to 174 seats, flight range up to 5.5 thousand kilometers. The development of the aircraft was started by the state company COMAC in 2007.
