Colombian Ministry of Defense published footage of the evacuation of children found in the jungle 40 days after the plane crash. Due to poor visibility and terrain, they had to be lifted aboard a helicopter by a winch lowered to a specially equipped platform.
“[Пилоты] are on their way to San José del Guaviare to take the children to the municipal hospital, where they will continue the treatment already begun by the medical team,” stated in the posted message.
A Cessna 206 passenger plane flying from the municipality of Solano to the city of San José del Guaviare crashed on May 1. On board were two pilots, four minors aged 13, 9, 4 years and 11 months, as well as their mother. Subsequently, the bodies of adults were found, and the military and local residents were involved in the search for children.
