Chelyabinsk resident received 400 thousand rubles, having broken her spine on a slippery sidewalk

A resident of Kopeysk, Chelyabinsk region, received compensation from JSC Kopeysk Machine-Building Plant in the amount of 400 thousand rubles. The fact that a plant worker broke her vertebrae and ribs on its territory was reported to URA.RU in the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.

“In February 2020, a woman, on her way to work, fell on the territory of the plant. She slipped on the sidewalk and was injured and taken to the hospital. The Kopeysk City Court exacted 400,000 rubles from JSC Kopeysk Machine-Building Plant in favor of the worker,” the prosecutor’s office specified.

For more than six months, the woman was treated with a compression fracture of two vertebrae and fractures of the ribs. In court, she clarified that the injuries continue to hurt and limit movement, and the corset still has to be worn.
