Chelyabinsk police blocked the channel for selling counterfeit goods in the region

In Chelyabinsk, employees of the UEBiPK of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region blocked the distribution channel for counterfeit tobacco in the territory of the regional center. As URA.RU was informed in the press service of the regional central office, over 12,000 unmarked packs of cigarettes were found in the supplier’s garage.

“When receiving the cargo, a native of the Republic of Armenia was detained. 12,580 packs of unmarked cigarettes worth about 1.5 million rubles were confiscated from his garage box. The seized products are sent for examination, based on the results of which a decision will be made to initiate a criminal case under Part 6 of Art. 171.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, ”the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region told URA.RU.

The department noted that the goods were purchased by the detainees through transport companies from St. Petersburg. The operatives contacted him as part of a criminal case initiated against seven entrepreneurs from Kopeysk, who distributed the goods through their outlets.

Earlier in Miass, a foreigner tried to arrange the sale of counterfeit products with the help of a bribe to a policeman. However, the employee refused the money and detained the violator.
