On the Miass River in the Chelyabinsk region, a local resident caught an American mink in her lens, which was stalking prey. She posted a photo of a successful fish hunt on social networks.

“The American mink hunts at a glance. The mink looks out for fish from the shore and from the ice in those places where the ice has moved away from the shore or in the gullies in the ice. Seeing the fish, the mink dives and immediately takes out the prey,” Svetlana N. writes on the VKontakte social network.

The author of the message clarified that the footage was filmed in March 2023 on the Miass River. She added that she watched the animals with great pleasure.
