The account of the Russian news agency Ura.ru was blocked on the YouTube video hosting. This information was published on edition websitenoting that the reason was a video about referendums in new regions of Russia.
85 thousand people were subscribed to the Ura.ru YouTube channel. According to the channel’s editor Mikhail Titov, they received their first warning on May 3 for last year’s video with a statement from the administration of the Kherson region about holding a referendum on joining Russia.
The second strike followed on May 12 for a video with a story about what will change in the LPR and DPR after the referendums.
“There were no hard shots or appeals, only statements by officials and facts. We received the third strike and automatic blocking today with the wording “violation of the rules,” Titov emphasized.
The editor added that every day the channel showed interesting episodes from life on the planet, promptly broadcast important statements that affect the life of Russians. In the evenings, they analyzed the main event of the day.
“We talked about how not to quarrel with relatives at the New Year’s table, held legal and medical consultations,” he said.
Ura.ru has already created a new YouTube channel, Titov concluded.
YouTube has repeatedly blocked “360”. In this regard, the channel decided to officially submit documents for registration of the Russian and Guinness record.
Despite the fact that Google blocked “360” on YouTube a record number of times, the TV channel – the only one in Russia – managed to get into trends with content in support of the special operation.
