Case filed against six including Tejashwi Yadav and Misa in Patna accused of not giving tickets for five crores


    A case has been registered against six people including Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav and Rajya Sabha MP Misa Bharti for not giving tickets for taking five crores. Along with Tejashwi-Misa, a case has been registered against Congress MLA Madan Mohan Jha, Congress leader and former MLA Sadanand Singh, Congress leader Shubhanand Mukesh and Congress spokesperson Rajesh Rathore at Kotwali police station. However, one of the accused Sadanand Singh has died. A case is also registered against his son Shubhanand.

    Supreme Court lawyer and All India Congress Committee leader Sanjeev Kumar Singh had filed a complaint case in Patna CJM Court alleging that RJD leader and Congress leaders did not give two Lok Sabha tickets by taking money and cheating. Patna’s Chief Judicial Magistrate Vijay Kishore Singh heard the matter and on September 16, through the SSP of Patna, ordered the Kotwali police station to register the case.

    Congress leader and advocate Sanjeev Kumar Singh had filed a complaint in the court of CJM, Patna on 18 August. It was alleged in this complaint that Congress leaders including Tejashwi-Misa took five crore rupees on 15 January 2019 in exchange for giving Lok Sabha ticket from Bhagalpur but did not give the ticket. From there the ticket was given to Shailesh Kumar alias Bullo Mandal. It is alleged that when Sanjeev contacted Tejashwi and his PA, he talked about giving two tickets of the assembly from Gopalpur to his brother Rajiv Kumar Singh and from Rupauli to Sanjeev Singh. But till the end the ticket was not given. When Tejashwi was contacted in this matter, he threatened to kill him.

    Accused of giving money in RJD office

    Complainant Congress leader Sanjeev Kumar Singh claims that on January 15, 2019, Rs 5 crore was given for a Lok Sabha ticket at the RJD office at Virchand Patel Path. He has alleged that when Sanjeev approached RJD leaders for not giving him tickets, he was threatened with death. The Congress leader has accused RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and other named accused of criminal conspiracy against himself.
