Carousel with children collapsed in the Czech city of Haviřov, injuring 12 people

In the north-east of the Czech Republic, at least 12 people were injured as a result of the collapse of a carousel with children. This was reported in the joint service of firefighters and rescuers of the republic.

“A chain carousel collapsed during a city holiday in Gaviřov. At least 12 people were injured, of which children make up the majority,” P. Kudela, a service representative, told reporters.
