Heavy snowstorms have disrupted life in the southern US states. Residents in states like Oklahoma, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia are struggling as classes in many schools have been canceled.
Flights have been delayed or canceled in airports such as Charlotte, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Nashville.

Some regions have reported up to 22 centimeters of snow. Authorities have issued warnings and advised people to avoid non-essential travel – Guardian reported.
Roads remain slippery making driving hazardous. Workplaces and courts in affected areas have also shut down.
