Three Mostransavto drivers went to St. Petersburg for an international competition of professional skills. They will compete for the title of the best bus driver.
The Ministry of Transport of the Moscow Region said that this year Alexei Strelnikov, Ivan Chernikov and Yuri Lysov are participating in the competition. Their total driving experience is more than 70 years.
The international competition of bus drivers is held for the 15th time. On the morning of May 18, the draw has already taken place and the participants received the serial numbers under which they will be tested. Drivers will have to show their knowledge of traffic rules, high-speed maneuvering and figure driving. Also, the drivers will have to perform nine figures on the site – these are “boxing”, “snake”, “track”, “relay” and others.
Earlier, Governor Andrey Vorobyov said that dedicated lines for buses on federal highways would be made in the Moscow region. The pilot roads will be M-7 Volga, M-5 Ural and M-8 Kholmogory.
