In 2022, the Klin brewery reduced its water consumption by more than 17 million liters. Over the past five years, the company has reduced it by 10%.
“The company has developed more than 10 initiatives that have been implemented at various production stages,” explained Georgy Filimonov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region, who is in charge of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
This year, the plant is implementing a project to return circulating water from a new dealcoholization site for use on the evaporative condensers of the refrigerator. For the company, water is a key ingredient for the production of high quality brewing products.
AB InBev Efes has 11 breweries throughout the country and is the leader of the Russian brewing market. It produces products under the trademarks Hoegaarden, Stella Artois, Velkopopovický Kozel and others.
Earlier, Governor Andrey Vorobyov said that by 2026, the modern greenhouse complex “Podmoskovye” will bring the Moscow Region to the first place in greenhouse vegetables.
