The United States on Wednesday, May 31, will announce new restrictions against Russia, which will relate to tightening export controls on technologies used in drones. This was announced by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
“Tomorrow we will announce new measures that tighten export controls on technologies found in Iranian drones used in raids on Ukrainian civilians and civilian infrastructure, as well as counter Russian disinformation, support human rights activists,” Mr. Blinken said at a press conference (quote by RIA Novosti).
On May 15, the White House reported that the administration of the American president agreed to impose sanctions against those involved in the military-technical cooperation between Russia and Iran. It was mainly about the supply of Iranian drones to Moscow, as well as artillery shells and ammunition used during the hostilities in Ukraine. Russia and Iran deny information about these deliveries.
