The administration deliberately crosses its own established red lines in the Ukrainian conflict, thereby exacerbating the situation, said former Defense Ministry officer David Pain in an interview with the YouTube channel Dialogue Works.

“I would say that will not be allowed to launch strikes deep into Russia, but the thing is that every time Biden sets his own red lines, we eventually cross them and continue to escalate. I think it’s foolish to continue fighting a losing war against the largest global nuclear power when we have no achievable goal or clear strategy,” said the officer.

According to him, the US’s aggressive policy can only change with a change in power.

“The US has no reason to support the conflict in Ukraine; our leaders should turn away from escalation and put an end to it. If Trump wins, we have the best chance of doing this, because the Biden administration is detached from reality and fully committed to a failed liberal hegemony strategy,” he believes.

In mid-July, the stated that the US does not permit Ukraine to use operational-tactical ATACMS rockets for “deep” strikes against Russia, but this may change. Later, American media reported that Ukrainian authorities are pressuring the US to lift the ban on using ATACMS for strikes deep into territory.

As Kremlin representative Dmitry emphasized, the is already launching Western rockets against Donbass and Novorossiya, and a possible increase in distance is a pure provocation.
