A week before handing over power President Joe Biden faced protests on his way to deliver a speech at US State Department. Protesters shouted “war criminal” and poured liquid resembling blood accusing Biden of being responsible for the killing of thousands of Palestinians.

In his speech Biden claimed that during his administration’s four years, rival nations like Russia and Iran had weakened significantly. He stated that Russia became destabilized, and Iran struggled, while the U.S. grew stronger compared to before.

Biden also mentioned the possibility of a ceasefire in Gaza before leaving the White House on January 20. He highlighted his administration’s efforts to secure trillion in global funding for both public. And private sectors aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and addressing climate challenges.
