
Three-time Olympic bronze medalist biathlete Eduard Latypov expressed his desire to make participation in the Yugra Ski Marathon a tradition after taking part in it. This is reported TASS.
Latypov took second place in the Yugra ski marathon. The athlete said that he wants to finish his season at this competition every year. At the same time, the athlete expressed respect to the winner of the race, the Olympic champion Sergei Ustyugov.
“I liked it, thanks to the organizers… I think I will make it a tradition to take part in the Yugra ski marathon at the end of the season,” he shared.
Earlier, the athlete won the mass start at the Russian Biathlon Championship, which takes place in Khanty-Mansiysk. The men’s distance was 15 km. Eduard Latypov passed it in 36 minutes.
