Belgorod governor held a meeting with the commanders of the local territorial defense

Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov held a meeting with the commander of the regiment and the commanders of the Belgorod self-defense battalions.

As the head of the region said in his Telegramchannel, during the meeting, proposals were discussed to continue the combat rallying of territorial units on the basis of military units of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is noted that this training takes place both on the territory of the region and on the territory of other regions. Another group of 100 people will go there in the near future.

“At the moment, we are trying to provide guys with everything, from summer, autumn, winter uniforms, helmets and body armor to additional equipment, such as copters, walkie-talkies, binoculars, metal detectors, first-tier first-aid kits and much more. Although, of course, there is a desire to improve the equipment of self-defense. And we will consistently solve these problems,” Gladkov promised.

The fact that the measures taken are increasingly relevant becomes clear from his next post, which refers to another night shelling of the city of Shebekino:

“According to preliminary information, there is one victim. Residential buildings are damaged, vehicles are on fire. More information later”
