It is noted that Russia has extended for a year the beginning of the repayment of a loan by Belarus for the construction of a nuclear power plant. Thus, the loan is used in 2011-2023, and the repayment begins six months after the date of commissioning of the facility, but no later than April 1, 2024.

As reported IA REGNUM, The Belarusian nuclear power plant is located near the city of Astravets. BelNPP consists of two power units with a capacity of 1,200 MW each. In 2021, the first power unit was put into commercial operation.
