Bastrykin instructed to transfer the case of Sverdlovsk teenagers knocked down on the side of the road to the Investigative Committee

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin gave instructions to transfer the criminal case of minor cyclists injured in an accident in the Sverdlovsk region from the Ministry of Internal Affairs to his department. The teenagers were hit on the side of the road by a driver who fell asleep at the wheel. This was reported at the Information Center of the Russian Investigative Committee.

“The acting head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region, Anatoly Nadbitov, will take all measures provided for by law to transfer and receive the criminal case for further investigation to subordinate investigators and submit a report on its preliminary and final results. The execution of instructions has been placed under control in the central office of the department,” the department reported on its telegram channel.

Earlier, URA.RU reported about an accident in which three minor cyclists standing on the side of the road received various injuries. They stopped to drink water when the Lada driver drove into them.
