Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin instructed to open criminal cases in connection with the shelling of the Kursk and Belgorod regions. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the UK.
According to the investigation, on September 22, an unidentified explosive device was dropped at the Sudzha border electrical substation in the Kursk region. The transformer failed and a fire broke out. In addition, the armed forces of Ukraine fired mortars at the border village of Elizavetovka, Glushkovsky district. A farm and a school were damaged, but no one was injured.
In the Belgorod region, the village of Dvuluchnoye was shelled, residential buildings were damaged.
“The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed to carry out a set of investigative actions, record all traces of criminal activity and take measures aimed at identifying the persons involved in the commission of these crimes,” the report says.
