Balance: a terrorist attack was prevented in Nova Kakhovka

In Nova Kakhovka (Kherson region), during the operational-search activities, special services officers identified a group of Ukrainian saboteurs who were preparing to commit terrorist acts on Russian territory. This was announced by the acting governor of the Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo.

“As part of the operational-search activities, a cell of Ukrainian terrorists was opened, who were planning a terrorist attack in crowded places in Nova Kakhovka. Chests of explosives in large volumes were found, the explosives were seized and destroyed,” said Vladimir Saldo in his telegram channel.

He wrote that the group was preparing to carry out acts of intimidation in crowded places on the territory of Nova Kakhovka in order to provoke and discredit the state system. Saldo also expressed his gratitude to the employees of the Russian law enforcement agencies.

Earlier, URA.RU reported that a secret apartment of Ukrainian saboteurs preparing to carry out a series of terrorist attacks was discovered in Energodar, Zaporozhye region. Earlier, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, warned of provocations from Ukraine on the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
