AT: US sends decommissioned weapons to Ukraine instead of their expensive disposal

The United States is sending Ukraine weapons that are nearing the end of their service life. They do this because recycling will cost more, said American Thinker columnist under the pseudonym Roger Smith.

Thus, the United States and its allies simply save themselves unnecessary expenses, he noted. If the decommissioned weapons were not sent to Ukraine, then Washington would have to spend about 35 billion dollars.

“The process of disarming weapons is very expensive,” Smith stated.
