In Yekaterinburg, a 79-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were injured as a result of an accident with a car overturning on Serafim Deryabin. The Mitsubishi Delica skidded while changing lanes to the left lane; at the scene of the incident, the State Traffic Inspectorate discovered snow banks and slippage, the department reported.

“As a result of an accident on Serafima Deryabina Street, 20, the following were injured: a 79-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man <...> When inspecting the scene of the accident, state traffic inspectors identified shortcomings in road conditions, namely the presence of snow banks closer than 10 m from the pedestrian crossing and the presence of winter slipperiness in in the form of snowfall,” says the telegram channel of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Yekaterinburg. The victims were taken to the hospital.

Traffic inspectors sent a recommendation for cleaning the roadway to the district road maintenance department. The driver was brought to administrative responsibility under the article on damage to roads or other road structures.

On the afternoon of December 5, on Serafima Deryabina Street in Yekaterinburg, a foreign car flew onto the sidewalk and overturned. Pedestrians injured in an accident were waiting for the traffic light signal on the traffic island.
