YNAO Governor Dmitry Artyukhov invited students from the Higher School of Economics to study the cities of Yamal in practice to identify possible growth points. Urban students, economists and sociologists will visit the region to study the northern cities, the head of the district said.
“We talked to the students of the Higher School of Economics, told them about Yamal and answered their questions. We offered future urbanists, sociologists, and economists to study our northern cities in practice and identify their points of growth. Already this summer, the guys under the joint program of the HSE and the Russia – Land of Opportunity platform are going on an expedition to us,” Dmitry Artyukhov wrote in his telegram- channel.
The Governor agreed with HSE Rector Nikita Anisimov that Moscow students would have more points of contact with Yamal. “It is trips around Russia, acquaintance with its amazing nature and people that help young people to truly get to know and love their homeland,” Artyukhov added.
Earlier, URA.RU reported that Artyukhov discussed measures to support the indigenous peoples of the North with the head of the Federal Agency for Nationalities Affairs Igor Barinov in Moscow. During it, future joint projects that will be implemented in the district were discussed.
